MY BOOKS

GRIM CRUSH (GRIMLY EVER AFTER, BOOK 1)

1. Do not interfere with someone’s death.

2. Do not become emotionally involved.

3. Do not show yourself to the living.

As a grim reaper, seventeen-year-old Xia has to follow these Rules. But when she meets Shilah, a Native American boy who can see reapers, she figures the rules don’t apply. To find out why he can see her, she pretends to be human, since carrying a scythe probably isn’t the latest teen craze. Things become unnerving as she begins experiencing first-time affection with Shilah, but she’s irreversibly drawn to him. Suddenly Xia finds herself breaking Rule Two, even while collecting dead souls behind Shilah’s back. It isn’t long before she is caught red-handed by the Angel of Death himself, and then not only is her relationship at risk, but also Shilah’s soul. And this leaves Xia wondering: can love overcome Death?

GRIM FATE (GRIMLY EVER AFTER, BOOK 2)

When Xia learns she is to become the next Angel of Death, she realizes a future with Shilah might be impossible. Between her Death training and a tragic event, things become even more rocky in their relationship. However, they are getting more physically intimate with each other than ever before, leading Xia to terrifying new heights and making her wonder just how far a grim reaper can go with a human being. And if Xia isn’t ready to fulfill her duty as the new Angel of Death in the next few years, the consequences for the world of the living will be dire.

In Grim Fate, the second novel of the Grimly Ever After trilogy, author S. L. Bynum continues the love story of Xia and Shilah, filled with more stakes and tension than ever before…and delivers another shocking ending that will change everything.

GRIM ETERNAL (GRIMLY EVER AFTER, BOOK 3)

Xia, the Angel of Death, is grieving after a recent tragedy. She has nearly given up hope that she can stop the other Three Horsemen of the Apocalypse—War, Famine, and Pestilence—who have thrown the balance of life and death drastically off balance. Then, Shilah comes to Xia and convinces her to keep fighting. Along with their friends, the two of them begin devising a plan to defeat the Horsemen. They break all the Rules of Reaping along the way, trying to set things right. Xia’s love for Shilah keeps her going through it all, but in the back of her mind she doubts the two of them will have a future together, since she’s immortal and he’s human. And then something happens to Shilah that changes everything, and only time will tell if their love is eternal or just a teenage fling.

The final book of the Grimly Ever After trilogy, GRIM ETERNAL, is the thrilling conclusion to Xia and Shilah’s intense paranormal relationship.

DREAMVISION

Dreams do come true, but in Abigail’s case, she wishes that were anything BUT true.

Eight years ago, when people still used landline phones and desktop computers, sixteen-year-old Abigail had everything a happy teenager could ask for—a loving family, two best friends, and a sexy prom date. But all of this blows apart when her dreams, which involve terrible accidents, start to actually occur in her hometown. Soon Abigail’s life consists of putting together vague clues from her dreams to save the lives of those she cares about, but she isn’t always successful. As she sinks into isolation, paranoia, and heartache, she resolves to stop the nightmares altogether, relying on someone who is not what they appear to be.

DREAMVISION is filled with horror and suspense at every turn, and is told in the form of a blog from Abigail’s perspective during the year 2007.
